How it was Tested
Our tester tried them out:
- on a flat and bumpy narrow pathway
- on a wide skating rink
- during daylight temperatures of -5°C as well as at night temperatures of -10°C
Our tester was able to have lots of movement on narrow pathways and wide skating rinks. In chilly temperatures, he was able to keep his feet warm and wear an additional sock layer to keep his toes from freezing. He was able to skate with confidence with ankle support and did not feel wobbly as they did with a normal hockey skate. Our tester is no longer in pain by the lack of form-fitting a hockey skate provides and instead can skate with ease wearing a comfortable boot.
