It offers a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy Jasper evening scene. Cross-Country Skiing Pyramid Lake Road is a beautiful way to spend your time outdoors over the winter months. It can be windy when skiing around the lake, be prepared with the right gear and avoid these mistakes I’ve made in the past to have a successful outing. You might be happy to have a book in hand after your adventure, warming up on a couch by the fireplace.
Jasper Gates Resort (10 min from Jasper National Park)

The rooms are super cozy, with a natural ambiance that lets in lots of light to brighten the space. We stayed with neighbours on both sides. They also offer rustic log cabins for those who prefer their own space. They offer several children’s activities, including a life-size chessboard, basketball, hiking, playgrounds, and the opportunity to experience Gold Rush mining.
